Le Château Mouton Rothschild is a renowned winery Medoc, located in the commune of Pauillac. It produces one of the wines of Bordeaux's most prestigious, which bears the same name. Le Château Mouton Rothschild is a Premier Grand Cru according to the official classification of Bordeaux wines of 1855. It shares this rare distinction with the Chateau Margaux, Chateau Latour, Chateau Lafite Rothschild and Chateau Haut-Brion. Owned by the Rothschild family since 1853, Mouton Rothschild is particularly famous for two reasons (in addition to its excellent wines): * Since 1945, the label is different every year, often illustrated by a famous artist (including Chagall, Miro, Picasso ...); * Originally classified Second Grand Cru at the classification of Bordeaux wines of 1855, Mouton was upgraded to Premier Grand Cru in 1973. The emblem of the Castle is the ram Augsburg
