The House Pol Roger is one of the last Big Champagne Houses of both family and independent.
Created in 1849, the most respected institution in Champagne has been able to build strong trade relations and ties with the UK market, which remains to this day the largest in the House among the 80 countries where its wines are distributed.
Ranked among the smallest of Big Champagne Houses in terms of volume, but among the first in terms of prestige, the House Pol Roger has to maintain and develop its undisputed reputation qualitative significant heritage assets:
* 85 ha excellent vineyards superbly situated on a score of the best terroirs of the Valleys of Epernay and the Côte des Blancs; * Supply complementary raisins made from independent wine, loyal through appropriate contracts, in the elite of champagne wines; * Basements, with a total length of 7 km, dug on three successive levels in the basement chalky, (up to 35 metres below ground) is one of the most fresh and deepest in the region. * A stock of 6.5 million bottles being slow aging, representing approximately 5 years of sales.
