Boulevard des Capucines
In the very heart of the central business district of Paris, the boulevard was formed from 1685 to 1705. It is part of what is called the New Course built on the site of the bastions of the walls of Louis XIII. It owes its name to the Couvent des Capucines whose gardens along the south side until the Revolution.
