La Rue d'Alésia is a main road south of Paris, which runs through the 14th arrondissement from East to West, over its entire length. This is one of the few streets of Paris to bear the name of a French defeat, or more exactly Gallic: the battle of Alesia. It is bordered by trees and extended to the East by the Rue de Tolbiac (13th arrrondissement), in the West by the Rue de Vouillé (15th arrondissement), two victories of the Gallic army. It crosses the avenue du General Leclerc up to the place Victor Bach, with his Church of Saint Pierre de Montrouge.
