The street of the Bank is a path of 2nd arrondissement of Paris. The southern section of the street is the old north-south branch of the transition from small-Pères, opened in 1779, through the hotel Bouillon. This branch was extended in 1844 to Place de la Bourse. First named Breakthrough street, it takes its current name since starting in front of the headquarters of the Banque de France. At No. 8 on the street is the town hall of the 2nd arrondissement.
