The rue des Pyrenees is a tree-lined street in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, which traverses the districts of Belleville, Pere Lachaise and Charonne. It has a length of 3 515-metre fall from 401 numbers of buildings. Its width varies between 25 m at the streets of Lagny and the Plaine and 48 m at its outlet on the course of Vincennes. This is the second longest street in the capital after the rue de Vaugirard. Called first street Puébla, it bears this name since February 1, 1877. It is obviously inspired by the mountain range between France and Spain and by the fact that the street is rising, especially in its northern part to the Buttes-Chaumont.
