This street is a very old street of Ivry as it is given to the state of road on plans Jouvin Rochefort (1672) and Roussel (1730). It was annexed in Paris on 1st January 1860, by Act of June 1859. It extends south of Boulevard Brune under the name Old path Ivry and in the town of Ivry under the street name of Paris. It takes its name from a property before the Revolution, which stood at about No. 90 on this street.
