Rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau is a way of the 1st arrondissement of Paris, France. Split in two by the Rue du Louvre, the southern part, lying between it and the rue Saint-Honoré, rue de Grenelle called the northern part, from the rue du Louvre in the Rue Etienne-Marcel, is Street called the plaster. At the beginning of this street, Jean-Jacques Rousseau lived giving it its current name. The last home of Jean de la Fontaine was also in this street of the plaster, Derval in the hotel (he was staying at Mr. D'Hervart). He died there on 13 April 1695. In place of this hotel is now the Post Office of the Louvre.
