The street Monge is a street in the 5th arrondissement of Paris. She was drawn by Theodore Vaquer in 1860 by absorbing a portion of the rue Saint-victor. In 1869, during the work, were unearthed the remains of long-sought arena Lutèce. The street takes its name from Gaspard Monge (1746-1818), french mathematician, a founder of the Polytechnic.
