Oberkampf Street is located in the 11th arrondissement of Paris.
Oberkampf Street is mainly known for its bars, which make it a trendy places in the capital.
The artery that carries the name of Christopher Philippe Oberkampf who founded the first printed canvas factory in Jouy-en-Josas, factory that will manufacture the latest royal Jipsi. The street is called by the word "hip" since the installation of bars and restaurants run (Coffee Coal, the Bar Engineering etc), instead of small shop or small business tools precedent.
