The street is an Vauvilliers of the 1st arrondissement of Paris, France. It takes its name from the Hellenistic scholar Jean-François Vauvilliers (1737 - 1801) who took over the food supply of Paris in 1789 at the beginning of the French Revolution. Previously, she was called rue du Four Saint-Honoré because of the presence of four bishops who lean to the Hotel du Grand panetier France (disappeared).
