Rue Vavin
This street takes its name from Alexis Vavin (1792-1863) who was a notary. Elected deputy of Paris in 1839 he was part of the Constituent Assembly, then the Legislature. In favour of the monarchy, he opposed the coup d'etat of Napoleon III.
It is a very commercial street where there are many shops for children.
