The station is open on June 3, 1930, under its former name, Sully Bridge. She paid tribute to Maximilien de Béthune, Baron de Rosny, Duke of Sully, friend and minister of King Henry IV but also to Colonel Francois Louis de Morlan of Hunters Guard (1771-1805) who was killed at Austerlitz. His body was repatriated in a barrel of rum.
